Amherst Media Annual Meeting

As the New England fall season speeds along we quickly find ourselves heading into another Amherst Media Annual Meeting, at the station, 246 College St, Thursday, 6:00PM, October 20, 2011.
We have the returns from our last mailing asking for nominations for the two member-elected board seats, with the elections to be held at the Annual meeting. We are glad to announce our current Board of Director's President John Bruner is running for his second term as well as newcomers Susan Seigel and Bruce Smith. Please take a moment to read the candidates statements.
While this may not be the most ìhotly contestedî election in the Valley this fall, there are many reasons for you to come out and participate at the Annual Meeting. For example, come and meet our newest staff member, Candace Johnson along with new Board Members, Gordon Synder and Maria Luisa Arroyo. Hear about the new Apple Certification and Photoshop Workshops, the LAN Parties, or the new programs that are coming to Amherst Media.
You could always come to share in community and reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. Don't forget to bring a dish to share via the New England style ìPot Luckî.
If you are unable to attend please consider submitting an absentee ballot. A completed ballot must be mailed or dropped off at the office on or before the day of the Annual Meeting. The envelope must have the name and the address of the member and ìabsentee Ballotî written on the envelope with the ballot enclosed within.
Stay involved and help us plan for the next 35 years of community service.
