Frances Crowe, a staunch anti-war activist and advocate for peace passed away Tuesday Morning, August 27th, at the age of 100. Frances was known for her creative and ceaseless efforts to promote goodness and peace.  She was featured in two episodes of Going Deeper, produced by Marcie Sclove, back in Spring 2017.

Jose Bello, a Bakersfield College student, farmer and father makes bail after NFL players Josh Normal and Demario Davis, as well as immigration advocacy organizations, posted his $50,000 bail. Bello was detained by ICE 36 after reading a poem critical of the agency. Read the full story here
