On Wednesday, the U.S. Senate voted largly along party lines to support net neutrality, the idea that broadband service providers treat internet data the same regardless of content, source, or destination much like the phone companies are required to do. Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey spearheaded the efforts to force the vote. Senator Markey has been a strong proponent of net neutrality as noted in this recent statement to Amherst voters filmed by Amherst Media.

We are upgrading our master control equipment, some of which has been in constant use for over two decades! During this time we are unable to provide programming on channels 12, 15, and 17. We will continue to offer our programming online, including making meetings such as Monday's select board meeting available as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to using our more modern equipment to continue to provide vital community media and improve the array of our offerings.
