Amherst Media Board of Directors President John Bruner presented Cynthia Brubaker with the Second Annual Jean Haggerty Award for Community Engagement and Social Change on Monday, December 19, 2011. Cynthia is a former Amherst Media Board member, a member of the Amherst League of Women Voters and has hosted numerous Amherst Media programs, most notably "Amherst...Neighbor to Neighbor," which shines a spotlight on various Amherst residents.

For those who sign up for the Animation class, here is a breakdown of what it entails. Day 1: Traditional Hand Drawn Animation Day 2: Stop Motion Animation Day 3 and 4: Style of Students Choice Each class will focus on different parts of animation but the structure of the classes will stay the same. Day 1 and 2 will be specifically focused on Hand Drawn and Stop Motion Animation. After students get a taste of each, they will have a chance to create their own short animated clips using either method on days 3 and 4. Basic Breakdown:
