Middle School Reconstruction Debt—$76,500 for a total of $86,942 5) Designation of OPEB Funds (Vote) 8:15 p.m. Potential Motion: Move to designate the FY17 Medicare Part D reimbursement ($88,833) for the purpose of financing the District’s OPEB obligation. 6) UFCW Recognition Agreement (Vote) 8:25 p.m. Potential Motion: Move to accept the enclosed recognition agreement between the School Committees of Amherst, Pelham, and the Amherst-Pelham Regional School District and the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 1459. 7) Immigration Policy Implementation 8:35 p.m. 8) Community-Based Strategic Planning 8:45 p.m. 9) Subcommittee Assignments 9:05 p.m. 10) Bill S223FBRC (An Act Modernizing the Foundation Budget for the 21st Century)Discussion 9:15 p.m. 11) Accept Gifts (if any received) 9:25 p.m.  School Committee/Retreat Planning 9:35 p.m.  Adjourn to Executive Session according to MGL Chapter 30A, Section 21(a)(3) to discuss strategy with 9:45 p.m. respect to collective bargaining (UFCW) if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the public body and the chair so declares.

Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee

The Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee is responsible for the operations of the secondary schools, 7-12, which serve students from the Towns of Amherst, Pelham, Leverett and Shutesbury.

The secondary schools include Amherst Regional Middle School and Amherst Regional High School.
