Emmeline Cordingley is a 2015 graduate of the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with an interdisciplinary degree in Socio-Political Responsibility. For her culminating senior Honors project, she independently produced a short documentary film, Girl Woman Girl. The film explores the ways in which the voices of high school girls are diminished and the long-term effects of the silencing of girls. Emmeline is passionate about empowering young women and girls; after graduation she looks forward to exploring issues of girlhood and female identity through film.
