A multi-racial panel of local people will share their personal experiences of growing up in, and/or living in, Amherst. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 7PM at The Jones Library. This will be a special opportunity to learn how these members of our community experience racism here. The panelists include Janaya Collins, Josh Odam, and David Ke; facilitated by Sovann-Malis Loeung and Caroline Murray. They will engage the audience in thinking about how we have all felt (in)visible at times. The overarching goal is for us to come together to create a more equitable and inclusive community. This panel includes some younger people than are often heard in the public discourse here.
