LIST OF TOPICS: Public Forum on amending the current grades 7-12 Amherst-Pelham Regional Schools Agreement between the four towns of Amherst, Leverett, Pelham, and Shutesbury to preK-12. Other members of the Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee and the recent RAWG (Regional Agreement Working Group) are likely to participate. Topics the chair did not reasonably anticipate 48 hours before the meeting.

Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee

The Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee is responsible for the operations of the secondary schools, 7-12, which serve students from the Towns of Amherst, Pelham, Leverett and Shutesbury.

The secondary schools include Amherst Regional Middle School and Amherst Regional High School.

Amherst School Committee

The Amherst School Committee is responsible for the operations of the elementary schools, Pre-K to 6, which serve students from the Town of Amherst. These schools include Crocker Farm, Fort River, Marks Meadow, and Wildwood.

Amherst Select Board

Select Board members are part-time Town officials and do not maintain regular office hours. The Select Board's Office, on the Mezzanine Level of Town Hall, is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

The Select Board usually meets twice a month on Monday evenings, and more frequently as necessary. Regular meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Room of Town Hall and the Select Board meets at 6:00 p.m. before most sessions of Town Meeting in the Music Room at the Amherst Regional Middle School.
