The 2014 Old vs The Young Basketball Tournament

The Amherst Media community is shocked and saddened to learn of Bruce Smith's passing. He was a prominent character on channel 12 and a familiar presence around the station.  

Bruce was a lifelong resident of Amherst. He produced over 100 episodes of "The Bruce Show" and filmed community and high school basketball games. Many members of the public simply knew of him as "the man on the couch." He was an iconic figure in our programming.
